Day 1 :

Arrival in Shimla & Drive to Sarahan

Arrive in Shimla and head towards Sarahan, known as the gateway to Kinnaur. Visit the historic 800-year-old Bhimakali Temple, showcasing wooden Himalayan architecture. Enjoy views of the Shrikhand Mahadev peak. Overnight stay in Sarahan.

Day 02 :

Sarahan to Sangla Valley & Chitkul Excursion

Distance: ~110 km | Duration: 4-5 hrs | Altitude: 3,450 m.

Drive along the Satluj River into the heart of Kinnaur. Arrive in Sangla Valley, famous for apple orchards and pine forests. Continue to Chitkul, the last inhabited village on the Indian side of the Indo-Tibet border. Walk along the Baspa River before returning to Sangla for night stay.

Day 03 :

Day 3: Sangla to Kalpa

Take a short drive to Kalpa, a heritage village overlooking the Kinnaur Kailash range. Visit the local Roghi Village, the famous Suicide Point cliff drop, and Hu-Bu-Lan-Kar Monastery. Watch the sunset over the Kinner Kailash peak.

Day 04 :

Kalpa to Tabo via Nako Lake & Giu Mummy

Distance: ~150 km | Duration: 6-7 hrs | Altitude: 3,280 m.

Cross into the cold desert zone of Spiti Valley. Stop at Nako Lake for a walk around the village. Take a detour to Giu Village to see the 500-year-old self-mummified Buddhist monk. Proceed to Tabo to explore the Tabo Monastery (est. 996 AD).

Day 05 :

Tabo to Kaza via Dhankar Monastery

Drive to Dhankar Monastery, dramatically perched on a cliff edge overlooking the confluence of the Spiti and Pin rivers. Visit the ancient fort before driving to Kaza, the administrative center of Spiti Valley.

Kaza Local Sightseeing (Key, Kibber, Hikkim, Komic & Langza)

Day 07 :

Day 08 :

Chandratal Lake to Manali via Atal Tunnel

Distance: ~120 km | Duration: 6-7 hrs | Altitude: 2,050 m.

Catch the early sunrise at the lake, then drive through Batal and Gramphu over rugged water streams. Cross the 9.2 km Atal Tunnel to enter the lush Kullu Valley. Arrive in Manali by late afternoon and relax on Mall Road.

Day 09 :

Departure from Manali
